Acid Chemistry Examples - What You Should Know About These ProductsAcid Chemistry Examples has been a staple of undergraduate coursework since about 1970. The reason why the science is called such is because in chemistry the substance that is analyzed to make important decisions like what chemical elements and compounds to look for in a sample or what compound is poisonous and what could kill you is known as acid. In the book, Basic Chemistry, this is how it is done.For example, any organic acid is going to be present. But it will be very different in other organic acids. For example, the simple acid sulphuric acid is a very potent oxidizing agent that can destroy your body if you get too much of it in your system. That acid is found naturally in most living things like yeasts, mushrooms, tomatoes, cranberries, yeast, parsley, horseradish, and many more. So it is obvious that if it is not naturally occurring then it is going to be found in the soil and water and so forth.Other forms of acid are also organic, but different in chemical properties and chemistry. The basic acid carbon dioxide is the most common, but in fact you have every one of the three basic organic acids. So that means every time you drop acid down into a glass of water, there is going to be carbon dioxide.Organic acid also means anything with a hydrogen atom attached to the nitrogen group. The sulfur, ammonia, sulfuric acid and hydroxide are all examples of these types of acids. There are some that are more common than others. A common one that most people are probably familiar with is ethyl alcohol.You might be wondering why the name ethyl alcohol. Because it has a particular chemical property in that it dissolves most substances into the liquid portion in water, and the other three chemical properties are the other two commonly found organic acids. Ethyl alcohol is used for laboratory processes where it is used as a solvent to dissolve solvents, like muriatic acid and nitric acid.So when you get into pure ethyl alcohol, the water you can just imagine how quickly the water turns to gas. But after it is dropped into a glass of water it condenses back to liquid. The great thing about this is that it dissolves almost everything into water, making it extremely useful for dissolving sulfuric acid or other kinds of corrosive chemicals in order to clean them up before they turn into other gases.We will have to think of ways to get rid of all this as the world's acid use continues to increase and be released into the environment. Fortunately, there are still more ways to get rid of this, and to make it safer for human use. One such way is through reforming the used chemicals in metals, as is done in the auto parts industry.
